Wind Energy- The Future Fuel

Over the last 5-10 years people are more conscious about their environment, this may be due to COVID-19 or another atmosphere as well as environmental changes. Now you can see vehicles on the road having green number plates. In urban areas effects of environmental change are more visible as compared to rural areas. for example, people from metro cities face the issue of less visibility during the winter every year and many more symptoms for the same reasons. This comes to the conclusion that people have to shift their source of energy from traditional sources to renewable sources as soon as possible. years ago when scientists are acknowledging that pollution in your city will also be a cause of melting the glaciers, very few people want to understand this, but now people feel this when during the lockdown, pollution level goes down and so much news came to the picture about the reduction in the pollution level.

The government of India took so many steps for the betterment of the environment, either fulfilling the promises of the Paris meetings reduction in the total carbon emission of CO2 as per the deadline. The Government of India released the "Draft Repowering Policy" This policy aimed to revamp the guidelines for the operating of turbine machines. in other words, you can say that increasing the efficiency of the turbine machines. the reason behind the policy release is that the data of the National institute for wind energy predicts that the total production of wind energy is 41.6 gigawatts and more than 20 watts of turbine machines are still needed to be repowering.

When you think about wind energy as a future fuel, India's requirement for energy continuously increasing by 3 percent per year. India has to find as many as possible energy sources the fulfilling its requirements and decreasing its dependence on imports. on the other hand, efficient use of all available resources is also important. This policy is a step towards the big goals and we need to be with the government as the honorable prime minister said "Sabka Sath -Sabka Vikas" in the case of energy each citizen should realize his/her duty towards the best possible conservation of energy at every daily step.

Other than this for the promotion of wind energy provision of additional 0.25% relief in interest was announced by the Government of India. When we look at the wind energy development in India the entire speed is very slow, we launched the production of wind energy in the 1980s and as per the agency's data total energy production is just 41 Gigawatts approximately on August 2022, this should be more because India has ample amount of required natural resource for the production for the wind energy. Development in Wind energy production is also important because components required for solar power are more costly than wind energy production. We have to import an ample amount of components for the production of solar power production.

Some challengers to the development of wind energy production-

1- Update Auction procedures.

2- 90% wind energy plants are situated only in two states Gujrat and Tamilnadu, this number should be more

many more.
