Concentration is the ability to focus our attention on a single item or thought and simultaneously blocking out all other extraneous thoughts from our mind. Concentration is one single thought or subject that focuses on our psychological energies and keeps them away from being dispersed on insignificant or random issues. This is similar to how a magnifying glass concentrates on the sun's rays into a single beam, which can ultimately burn the paper. Extraordinary actions can be used to produce the energy of concentration. Is any time spent on such activities worthwhile? The more time and energy we devote to improve our focus the more this powerful skill we get. This is the inner strength to make a decision, make a move, handle, and carry through any goal or undertaking, regardless of internal resistance, distress, or hardship. Internal solidity, conclusiveness, assurance, determination, and persistence are examples. The ability to forego instant gratification for something better requires time and efforts to achieve, demonstrates concentration and inner power. The person can stick to action, contemplations, and conduct, which prompts change and progress, despite challenges and deterrents. It boosts up the level of motivation since motivation is an internal driving force that rouses and propels us toward our goals. Keeping the final aim in mind, we need a driving, coordinating force to get anything done; otherwise, nothing would be achieved.
