This is just because our left nadi goes up and moves to the right. This channel or nadi is controlled by the moon and is related to our past. It has been believed since ages that a human being takes rebirth. So whatever we have been doing in our previous births is recorded in this nadi. Since it is controlled by the moon it is considered to be a cold nadi. Those people who have very active Ida nadi are always thinking of their past. Most of the time they are found depressed and have a lethargic liver. They mostly keep on thinking about their past experiences. When you talk to such persons it can be easily understood that they are always talking about all what has already happened. Our left nadi is our desire nadi also. All our desires we get from here. But when one keeps on only desiring abut a thing and does not do any activity related to it then the result is only depression. To balance this nadi we have to take the help of our mother earth.
