India is a country who always been known for its agriculture and its related business verities in the world like we export sugar from Punjab, a state in the northern part of the nation whereas spices are from Kerala, a state situated in the southern part of the nation. In recent years there is a change in the positioning of the farmer's image in India. Earlier the image of a farmer was just of a producer but now this image of farmers is changing to marketers as well, this could be the result of the government's continuous efforts, and technological involvement in the farmer's life. Now farmers are taking the lead or you can say that farmers are now turning to be middlemen as well for the products they produced at their farms or for their corps. They perform all the liabilities generally earlier performed by the middleman and enjoy the benefits of the middleman as well. This approach increases the overall profit or income of the farmers as well as, increases the knowledge related to the changing work environment in the 21st century. There are so many initiatives taken by the government of India to develop a new approach and revamp the positioning of the farmers in India as- The government of India established various "Seed Hubs" in various parts of the nation. on the other hand, "per drop more crop" explain the meaning of the maximum possible utilization of available water. Now Private players also taking active participation in the agriculture business. Farmers are using various sensors technology, and drone technology in agriculture as well as in irrigation. Through the technology, a farmer can be up to date himself about the soil health and its requirements as per the corp. Indian agricultural scientists are working on the practical use of "Hydrogel" which could be the game changer in the requirement of irrigation. We are in the testing phase of the hydrogel in some shorts in the nation. we have Nano urea now, no need to carry bulk bags of urea and there is no lack of it because availability and transportation are much easier for Nano urea as compared to normal urea bags. Through the scheme known as "Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada," the government wants to make many food parks, and cold storage in the nation, which is a future vision of farmers' income maximization. Indian Government invited the initiatives from the students as well. other than this the government also provides financial aid to some sectors such as Agro-processing farm machinery post-harvesting management, marketing of agricultural products dairy, and fishery products. The government of India opens its hand as "Vichar Se Vyvharya Tak". In the coming years, Agriculture will not be an opportunity for agricultural students only, agriculture will provide opportunities to engineers from civil engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, and many more stream's students.
