"If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door" -Milton Berle
In life, it’s a simple rule that if you want to realize your dreams, you need to put in your every effort. People say that you have to wait for the right opportunity to come. Yes, timings, play an important role butyou furthermore need to realize when to be patient and let things fall into place and when to make it happen.
Quite often people keep waiting for opportunity to come along while failing to understand that they have already got the required skills to create a door, or create their own opportunity. Despite missed opportunities, it’s still in your control to form a change, to be a change forthe next coming opportunity. So what are you doing to prepare yourself for that next opportunity OR Are you ready and prepared to build your own door if opportunity doesn’t knock?
It starts by simply by ensuring that you have a proper and crystal clear understanding of your goals and expectations. Regardless of whether you' retrying to take advantage of next opportunity or trying to create your own opportunity, it will never happen if you don’t know what you want. Remember, that growth and progress takes time and consistent effort; they are not achieved in a single day! It’s not what we do onceduring awhile that shapes our lives. It’s what we do consistently. As you still work toward your goals, remember to stay grateful for what you have already achieved. Anger or resentment over missed opportunities can distort the present state of your situation. It can hurt your ability and enthusiasm to take that important initiative towards making your own door. It’s also important to stay flexible in your approach. If you observe that you are no longer making progress, its right time to change the approach you do the things. Perhaps your goals and expectations are not any longer aligned together with your actions. Make sure that sufficient time is being spent on what's most meaningful and monumental for you.We all have our good days and our bad days but that ought to never cause us to prevent doing the items that matter most to us. We live in a world of instant gratification. If we don’t see an instantaneous change we tend surrender quickly. Pursuing a new or unprocessed goal requires time. If you remain committed, there's always a way! Remember that if opportunity doesn’t knock build a door! Because,
“Tough time don’t last but tough people do.”
