Collaborations to Foster Innovation

As collaborations with technology vendors reach dizzying heights, businesses are releasing their worth of partnering out of the box. Eighty-nine percent of businesses surveyed reveal their intentions to partner with their purchaser to drive growth. This sudden spike in expanding the horizons of collaborations is primarily driven by the need for faster, broader, and simple innovation.

However, the benefits do not stop there. The companies also expect this to translate to a customer experience too. Companies are now in favor of extracting greater value out of the retained customer base by piggybacking off partners. Eighty-six percent of the respondents agree that due to this a key component of their strategy to manage the change. Collaboration itself is an idea of innovation within the same work culture because everyone brings set of data and skills to the table. Working together gives birth to new ideas through collaboration.

The concept of “players” within the organizational innovation process is necessary and interesting, because it reinterprets a “social” company role; it has always not made clear in the corporation chart, in a specific organizational role. Unlike normal stage-gate selection process, the social approach to involvement and to the realization of ideas and improvement projects is predicated on the activation of three different communities: he who brings or generates ideas, and carries them out (exploiters), and he who has the task of choosing and assessing them. The main objective of innovation isn't only to make product, but due to innovation exist, other people got to be engaged and stimulated to recognize and pursue not only product innovation, but also process model innovation.

We need to know to encourage innovation and make it for core business. It has to be treated systematically, like all process during which one has to is decided and ultimately answer is found. Some of the key questions we'd like to ask ourselves are therefore: What we want to get and how? What resources will we need? Who will be part of the team? What are the factors to motivate people and what recognitions will be given? How will the initiative’s success be measured?

Creativity therefore is not to be seen as a gift but must be of daily activity. Innovation is to be more collaborative process among individuals instead of the results of the intelligence of one person.
