Recently, the world community of Green Scientists were alarmed with a major change in climate conditions of Greenland. The biggest impact of global warming is being felt in the major ice producing region of northern hemisphere (Greenland). The summit station(Summit Camp, also Summit Station, is a year-round staffed research station near the apex of the Greenland ice sheet) formed by U.S agency, reported heavy rainfall in the area, and this is going to impact the ice belt and the world climate in days to come.
Due to this, the temperature has risen more than the freezing point and surely will lead to melting of ice rapidly, then after, the rise in the ocean level as well.
The world needs to re-think the methodology framed to tackle Global Warming seriously, as the results are horrifying. The snowfall is the common thing in Greenland and sometimes a mild rain, but the heavy rainfall was not expected. Maximum of us are aware of the major chunk of ice, melting in Greenland in the past years, but this news cannot be considered as normal and left for analysis only.
Yes, we all know that certain organizations along with world leaders are continuously working on this problem, but the efforts are null and void with these kind of news. The world should re-design the process of reducing carbon emissions and this can only be done with collective action along with cooperation among developed and developing states keeping the allegation politics far behind.
At the end it would be better to say- “Climate First” should be the motto of every human on this earth.
