Anger

"krodhaadbhavatisammohahsammohaat smriti vibhramah |

smriti bhramshaad buddhi naasho buddhi naashaatpranashyati ||" (Bhagavad Gita 2.63)

…means that from anger comes delusion, from delusion comes confusion of memory, from confusion of memory comes loss of concentration, and from loss of concentration, one falls into destruction.

This shloka is relevant in business management as anger and its negative effects can have a significant impact on business and its employees. When a leader or manager allow their anger to take control, it can lead to poor decision-making, confusion, and ultimately, the downfall of the business.

Anger can cause employees to become demotivated and may result in increased absenteeism, lower productivity, and higher turnover rates. It can also lead to poor communication and strained relationships among employees, which can further impact the company's success.

Therefore, it is essential for business leaders and managers to manage their anger and emotions effectively. They should develop emotional intelligence, practice mindfulness, and use techniques like meditation and deep breathing to maintain their composure in challenging situations. By doing so, they can make better decisions, maintain positive relationships with employees and clients, and create a more productive and successful business environment.
